What a great event you organised. Footgolf is always fun. I valued how you thought of everything in regards to safety for the participants. I learnt that even though you have a disability, so much is possible.I would be happy to hold another event with WE BELONG
It was so lovely to meet all the girls at Flagstaff. It was such a rewarding experience to give back and share my knowledge to such a bright bunch of girls. We had great discussions and I hope that they took away some tips in becoming more confident to improve their financial wellbeing.Melanie Ng
Over 4 sessions, Flagstaff participants gained tools and confidence through the Speaking with Confidence course presented by Wollongong Daytime Toastmasters Club. We were privileged to work with some very enthusiastic people from Flagstaff where they progressed through the speaking program. At the completion of the program, they were able to demonstrate a newly found confidence that gave them the ability to speak in front of a small group when they wouldn’t have previously.
We were proud to host a We Belong workshop at Street Beatz and provide our dancers with the opportunity to participate in an inclusive and welcoming class environment. The experience was incredibly positive, fostering connection, confidence, and a genuine sense of community.
The ‘Art of Conversation’ is a great program giving participants not only the skills, but also the practical experience of new social interactions. Seeing individuals develop the confidence to navigate new social situations and bravely start conversations is an incredibly positive outcome.

Digital Storytellers was delighted to deliver a storytelling workshop with Flagstaff at the library in Wollongong, bringing together a mix of community members, people from Council, and individuals supported through Flagstaff’s disability empowerment programs. Participants learned how to shape and plan their story ideas using the Story Canvas, capture stories using smartphones, and gain an introduction to simple editing techniques
Your crew are getting so comfortable with the gym 😊 They come in and mingle with the rest of the members, have a laugh and conversation with people and train just as hard, if not harder.
